Best Gluten-Free Snacks Disney World
I have a young son whose sensory and behavior issues are much improved on a gluten-free diet. We developed this snack list as we began navigating Disney World as a gluten-free family. This list will continue to grow and change as we return to the World and find new treats or options.
Always double-check with the vendor that it is still gluten-free!
The 5 Best Gluten-Free Snacks in Disney
5. Breakfast Pastry at Animal Kingdom-
There’s an allergy-friendly kiosk featuring breakfast and snack treats. In the past, they have had fresh fruit, gluten-free cookies, cupcakes, muffins, donuts, and bagels. Also, this cart has crackers, chips and gluten-free beer.
Check out Terra Treats Allergy Kiosk on Discovery Island at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, across from the Starbucks. Our last visit, we found it did not open until 10:30 AM.
4. Snacks with Character
Disney’s certified gluten-free line of treats presents allergy options featuring adorable Disney characters. Always delicious, there is a wide collection of snacks. These include cookies (Lemon Burst, Chocolate Chip), chocolate & dessert bars, fruit & seed bars, and chips. Enjoy Life makes these products.
3. Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC
This is a gluten-free, kosher and vegan bakery featuring donuts, muffins, cupcakes, cookies and a lot more.
The main store is in Disney Springs. However, Walt Disney World Resort sprinkled Erin McKenna’s bakery goods throughout. Hence, they are found at counter service restaurants at Beach Club, Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Art of Animation, and Pop Century. They also have their wares at the above listed cart in Animal Kingdom (#5).
2. Dole Whip
While sweating during a scorching Disney afternoon, enjoy a refreshing pineapple soft serve . Better yet? The icy, sweet pineapple Dole Whip Float. This tangy pineapple soft serve is splashed with pineapple juice to make it in to a float. You can also get the Dole Whip swirled with sweet vanilla. These are a must do for a steamy day.
The Dole Whip is available at Animal Kingdom’s Tamu Tamu Refreshments, Magic Kingdom’s Aloha Isle and Sunshine Tree Terrace, and the Polynesian’s Pineapple Lanai.
1. Gluten-free Beignets
These hot, fresh, decadent pastries are the absolute best gluten-free treat to be found in Walt Disney Worldent resort. They are freshly made upon request. Also, we request the beignets the night before because so that the chef will have a chance to thaw the dough in advance. These are found at the counter service restaurant Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans- French Quarter.
The following are honorable mentions. While the following are not products that are not in our list of favorites, they will do if you have no other options:
- Enjoy Life Baked goods
- OMG Manufacturer baked goods
- Disney Popcorn carts

Rather than suffer, we love ordering specialty items from Amazon Prime or the local grocery delivery service. If you have access to a vehicle: Target, Walmart, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s have locations nearby. Even staying on property provides unique options through a taxi or rental cat. Finally, request a ride with an app like Lyft to pick you up and get you to the store.
