Dole Whips at Disney: Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian

The Polynesian Village Resort is the home of a ridiculous number of tropical refreshments. We could have rolled home with all the sweet and fruity indulgences.
The Polynesian is now the home of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tiki Terrace. These two related restaurants feature a menu full of delicious, fruity booze concoctions. With this new addition, there is no shortage of fun and tasty treats at the Poly.
For those seeking the comfort of the traditional Dole Whip or simply looking for a reprieve from the booze-soaked blenders, head over to the Pineapple Lanai.
The Pineapple Lanai is behind the Polynesian Village Resort Great Ceremonial House, just before the gorgeous feature Lava pool. It is outside but has covered seating. If on the Disney Dining Plan, you can use a snack credit for a Dole Whip or Dole Whip float.

If on the Disney Dining Plan, you can use a snack credit for everything on the menu at Pineapple Lanai.
You can order a tradition Dole Whip (Pineapple soft-serve), a Dole Whip soft serve swirl (Pineapple and vanilla swirled), or a Pineapple Float (Dole Whip soft serve with pineapple juice).
First, my husband opted for a regular Dole Whip. This is delicious but slightly tart. Our baby made a sourpuss face when she tried it!
Finally, I had the swirl Dole Whip float which means the vanilla and pineapple swirled ice cream that had a splash of pineapple juice.
They were absolutely refreshing and delicious as usual! As always, we highly recommend a visit to try this delectable treat. We absolutely adored our Dole Whips at Disney Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Village Resort.
